I am generally pleased with my experience with Kfit but recently the system was buggy and showed that I made 10 reservations, though I only made 1. I wrote an email to a lady who assisted me, and when she didn't reply, I wrote to the main email, and when there was no reply, I used the live chat. After 4 live chat sessions, the conclusion was to just wait for the lady who assisted me to reply my email though I mentioned that I was tying to book a session for the day after. I hardly am fussy but this experience really.. really.. leaves me speechless.
I was introduced to Kfit by an acquaintance and decided to sign up when there was a free 1 month trial. If you're keen, there's no longer a 1 month trial but you can use my referral code to get a small discount off your first month. The usual price is SGD129 per month which isn't too steep either!
What is Kfit?
KFit is a brand new pass that gives you the freedom to access the largest network of gyms, fitness classes, sports facilities, outdoor group exercise for a single affordable monthly fee.
The best way for you to search for a particular review here would be to Ctr-F and type the studio or activity you're looking for.
Pros
1. Try tons of different activities
2. Relatively affordable
Cons
1. Vendors might pull out and classes may be cancelled last minute
2. Kfit will charge if you don’t cancel your classes in advance (if you can’t make it)
3. Vendors will try to sell you their packages (though most of them don’t hard sell)
4. Addresses and contact numbers on kfit may be inaccurate (I got lost a couple of times)

- Adult gymnastics
I was stoked to see this on KFIT. I've always wanted to try gymnastics but doubted if I could really do it cause I'm like. 24 now. I'm a little old but.. thankfully there's adult gymnast. I went there with no prior experience. We did the warmup and they broke us up into several groups (prob based on how flexible we are during warm up). There were 3 of us per instructor and all 3 of us were pretty new so we worked on basic handstands, cartwheels, and just jumping on the trampoline. It wasn't too intimidating as we really started from scratch. I didn't even dare to kick up all the way to achieve the picture as above when we first started class but we really took it slow. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have already booked my next class!
*Update on my 2nd class. We practiced cartwheels and handstands and I really did get better! Tried a backwards flip practice and it was quite fun too. Even though it was my first time trying it out, it wasn't intimidating at all. I'm quite hooked now.

Wings to Wings Dance Development Centre (3 visits/ month)
- Adult ballet
I've been for adult ballet lessons at SDT where it's more syllabus based, but for Wings to Wings, it's more like an open class which I prefer. I had a great experience there really. The teacher was really friendly and clear. I felt that I actually made progress even though it was only an hour lesson cause she corrected our postures and all.
At the end of the class the owner made a short announcement and briefly mentioned that they do jazz as well, and tadaa there was an impromptu jazz trial class! She asked the instructor to give us a half an hour trial on how jazz will be like. I can't think of anything bad about my experience.. I didn't bring ballet shoes and the owner lent an extra pair to me for class.

The instructors there were really genuine and they tweaked the training routines based on my level of fitness but at the same time pushed my limits. The gym is rather basic as compared to other gyms that I've been to, nothing too fancy but it didn't bother me that much.

It felt kinda like a spa/ facial franchise. There were lockers, towel, and water provided. Class was fine. The teacher came around to correct our moves. It was okay.

- Stand up paddle boards
Took the free buggy from the tram station to Wavehouse and went over to the paddle boarding area. It was both me and my friends first time so the instructor taught us how to get on the board and paddle. We quickly caught a hang of it and I would say we did pretty well :) Paddled for an hour and didn’t even get our upper body wet.
It was like a free and easy thing. The instructor just teaches you at the beginning and then you just go do your own stuff. He taught us a different way of paddling to turn around faster too.

I put these 2 in the same category because the instructor and the location is the same. The instructor is a semi retiree and he was very patient while teaching. I liked that he constantly ensured that I understood the moves, etc.

- Muay Thai
I was late so everyone was kinda dispersed and doing their own thing. One of the instructors spotted that I look really lost and told me to go do my warm-ups. There wasn’t much guidance on the warmup but I can’t blame them because I was the one who was late. I caught up with the rest and it was quite alright after that.
The instructor corrected my poises and all. If it’s the first time you’re going there, you should probably attempt to go early cause the place is a maze. I got lost from the MRT station.

There was construction going on near the studio so it was kinda noisy. The instructor was rather soft spoken so I didn't really get all her instructions. It was a good workout still but nothing much that left an impression on me.

- Bollywood dance
It was my first time trying Bollywood and it really wasn’t too difficult. Class started late but the teacher also extended the lesson to make up for lost time. But because class ended late, I ended up being late for my next lesson. The lady Sheema (I think she’s the owner and also the instructor) took a rather proactive approach in marketing. She texted me and my friend a day after and two days after our lesson to ask us to like their Fb page and asked if certain class timings would suit our schedules. For me I don’t really want to commit to anything just yet so yeah.

- Street jazz & Zumba
Class was fine. For both street jazz and zumba, the instructors went through the steps to make sure we got the moves. They were clear with their instructions.
Out of all the Kfit partner studios I went to, I felt the most uncomfortable here though. I walked in and there was a group of existing students who were really engaged in what they were doing, and 3 other small groups of people sitting at different corners quietly. It felt very cliquey. Anw I talked to another girl who was alone and also there for the first time so it wasn’t that bad after all.
